Shipping
General
The company ships its products throughout Canada and mainland USA.
In Canada we generally use the following shipping companies:
- FedEx (we ship Monday to Thursday to ensure delivery before Saturday)
- Priority Courier
- Sameday Courier
- Air Canada (for larger orders)
- For regional deliveries in the Maritime provinces, regional carriers such as bus lines and couriers are used.
In the USA we use the following company for deliveries:
- FedEx (we ship Monday to Wednesday to ensure delivery before Saturday)

USA
FedEx has a flat rate for delivery to all destinations in the USA. Delivery charges in the USA will include $25.00 Cdn FDA fee and shipping and handling fee.

The figures in the above tables will be updated periodically to reflect shipping charges which are subject to changing fuel surcharges.
Shipping Confirmation
Upon receiving an order that has an email address, we will confirm the order and email you on notification with your FedEx tracking details. You can call FedEx at 1-800-GO FEDEX (463-3339) or go to www.fedex.ca and click on ‘Track” to obtain the current status of your shipment. If there are any issues we will contact FedEx and track your shipment for you.
Incorrect Shipping Information
We will endeavour to contact you or the recipient to obtain the correct information. If we are unable to contact you or to resolve the issues, then we can not be responsible for product loss or damage.
FDA – US Customs
We ensure that all documentation as required by the FDA / US Customs will be in order. However, since 2001 there has been the odd occasion that the authorities have delayed the importing of smoked salmon parcels.
We have been shipping successfully to the USA and should any delays be caused by the above authorities we will endeavour to have the shipment released.
